Have any of you guys used a .17 Rem. on turkey? If so, can you either post or email me the details on the performance, loads, damage, etc.? Thanks,

I have not taken any turkeys with my 17 rem, but I would say you could easily take one's head off with a 25 g starke with 24g of 4320 underneith. A body shot would probably be ok, if it were a straight on chest shot , but there would surely be a soft ball sized exit out the back. see ya |
