I've tryed 231, AA Nitro 100, Bullseye, Unique, Blue Dot, 700x, 800x, and even Clays. Does anyone have any loading information of these 25ACP based rounds?
231 seems to produce the highest muzzle velocity in my 22 version (22 Epperson Cricket) so far at 1850fps (35gr V-max/2.5 gr 231). But what I guess I'm looking for is a lower Standard Deviation load. The rounds I chronoed ranged between 1830 and 1895 fps with an average of 1850. Though the accuracy did not seem to be affected much at the 50 yard range, more consistent would have to be better farther out. |

I'll check in my .14 caliber bullet manual to see what is listed. I think that your standard deviation is not all that bad for the fast burning powders that you are using in that little case. If the accuracy is good, why worry about it. You could try to experiment with primers as well. |
