Randy,
Just my 2 cents worth. Forget the rest and go with a straight .17 Remington. It will do everything all the others will do and brass is available and cheap. If you want to thottle it down you can do so and if you want to crank it up it has the powder capacity. No expensive case forming dies and if you ever decide to sell it IS easier to sell a factory chambering than a wildcat. Corbin Shell |

i understand that. i know the cost of the brass and forming
dies are expensive.but first i wish someone would sell me a few of each of these cases. i want to see them for myself. i already have one person selling me a couple .17 heebee. but i still need .17 squirrel,,14 hornet,.17 rem,.17 mach4, .17 ackley hornet.really i would like a few of every sub caliber that any one has. please sell me few of each guys.. as for performance i already have a .220 swift that will do everything i need out to 500 yards. and if the range gets farther ill use my .30-378 with matchkings. i want this sub- caliber to replace my .22 mag. i want something diffrent. |

Randy, I can definitely relate to wanting something different. I'll dig up what i can for you. Send me an e-mail with your address so that I can gather the required cases. I don't have everything that you want but will do what I can. Todd Kindler would be able to see you the .17 Squirrel cases and most any of them since he makes them for sale. Call him and tell him that I sent you. (330)897-0614. Tell him that you are a member of this board and want to buy some sample cases to determine what you want to build. I doubt that he will have the .14 that you desire, but John Delozier will be able to provide you with them. His contact information is in the article entitled "Case Forming the Right Way". He makes the .14 hornet and the .14 fireball cases. |
