Here is the deal, I want to get some t-shirts printed up with a saying on them for us small caliber shooters. I have a couple of ideas but would like to hear yours as well. Mine are as follows:

Small Caliber Shooters.... Do it with Speed

Conserve Resources Shoot a Seventeen.

Who would be interested in something like this? I want to get one slogan made up first since I will have to pay a one-time set up fee for the silk screener.

I can also have some hats made up, so let me know what you would like on a hat also. After I get a slogan, I can get one made up and post pictures on the site if we can generate enough interest to pay for the set-up and shirts.

thanks.

Sleak and mean...the mighty Seventeen.

or

Sleak and mean...the little Seventeen.

Depending on how boastful you would like to be.

Just some ideas...I still would like to get some solid load data for my 17" Bullberry .17 Mach IV barrel that is being built. If anyone has suggested fireforming loads as well as accuracy loads to include a ballpark OAL for me to start with it would be much appriciated.

Mach IV loads

With a 25 grain bullet.

Max load of 16.7 grains of H4198.

Max load of 18.3 grains of n133.

Max load of 18.4 grains of H322.

All of the above should be considered maximum loads and should be worked up to carefully. You may experience high pressure signs before reaching the above loads depending on temperatures, powder lot, etc.

You also ask about Fireforming loads. You will find that the formed case looks the same after it is fired, but I still use a reduced load for the first firing. I found that with the Bullberry Mach IV chamber, you will need to FL size your brass as much as the die will allow - run the shellholder all the way up to the die. Use any of the starting loads as your first load, and I'll bet that you find them very accurate. You may even decrease the max load by 2 full grains for your starting load.

But need to firm up on what the shirts will say. Looks likes the shirts will sell for 15 bucks plus shipping (actual shipping charges no inflated prices). Lead time is 1 week. I will have a minimum order of 20 shirts for the first run.

This price will include print on back of t-shirt and smaller print on the front Left panel of the sirt. Color of the shirt can be specified before the order is placed if anybody has a preference. If not, they will be a gray shirt. Size will need to be given. If you are interested, shoot me an e-mail at jim@saubier.com.

If this works out well (if I don't lose money), I will have a run of Hats printed up also.

Why don't you have a t-shirt that on the front it says "We love .17 cal. and smaller" And on the back across the shoulders it should be Saubier.com What do you think, Nailman.....

".17 Caliber - For those that like to observe their impacts."

-or-

".17 Caliber - Beacause I like to watch."

Then have a picture of a Groundhog/Squirrel in the crosshairs of a scope just after impact. But try to make the picture too grusome.

Those are pretty good. I don't think that i will be able to keep the cost down if I add a picture. I do like the idea, keep 'em coming.
