: Thanks Jim - what a GREAT place. Sure looks different, and modern! Some of us will take a bit of time getting to know the ins and outs but it'll be wonderful once we become aquainted with the new looks and operation.

I got busy with some stuff on an auction site and see this place changed when I got back. It looks like all the rest now. It feels like I'm in a big office complex working in one of the little 6x6 office cubicals. Old format was like glassing out a field. You could see what all the other critters where up to at a glance. Gota pull my head out of the 20th century and get used to the 21st. Still a great site Jim just not fond of the "cookie cutter" format. Paul

Jim we appreciate your generosity in donating your own time and money to a enabling a bunch of yahoos to talk about guns, critters, hunting, kids and all kinds of stuff.
I've gotten to know some real nice fellows here and learned a lot more than I could have anywhere else.
Very cool stuff here. Let us know if you need anything.

I really like this style. It's the same as Rimefire Central and WhoWon.com. Very easy to use.

Jim,
I would like to send a big Thank-you!! Before coming to this site my woodchuck gun was a 25-06. I now have 3 17's and a 204 and can't wait to build more. I am also reloading like a mad man.:p, with time permitting. Thanks to all, although I am a lurker and can't yet reciprocate the info garnered. Someday I will be able to contribute knowledgeable input to a topic. I am still watching the game cameras; waiting for the KB's to make it to Michigan. Do the number of days in the growing season have any effect on the presentation of this remarkable species?

Jim:

Had a hell of a time finding where to register. Finally did tonight. should have a note on the first page where to find it.

also, tried to send a pm awhile ago after I was logged in and posted a couple replies, and again when I was going to post this note. Site said I wasn't logged in and I had been and have been posting over an hour. So, you've still got some bugs running loose.

Sure looks good though, thanks much, am looking fwd to continuing with this bunch of great guys.

please continue to forward any problems that you might have.

not sure what is going on with the PM issue, does it seem to work now?

I get logged out if I don’t keep moving around. For example, if I pause in one place for more than a few minutes while reading a long thread or composing a response, I get logged out. If I move between forums and threads without pausing very long, I stay logged in.

I have also noticed that the icons for normal threads and hot threads seem to be assigned randomly. Some threads with as few as two replies get the “hot” icon while others with two or more replies have the normal icon.

I think both of these problems may have to do with whether the site is configured for Firefox.

Those problems aside, the forum looks great and I like the way it is organized. This site is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for a small-caliber wildcat fan. I learn something new here every day.

Got a new PC and had not been here in a while, just sort of forgot about this place? Long enough that I needed to re-register. It looks a lot more user friendly than the old format, very nice.

Hey Dittohead, IS THAT YOU!?!?

I registered here just before the software switch to get some info about bushings for my .20 VT dies and now I’m hooked. Wildcats, case forming, bullet making; I feel like I have a new toy. :D
