I've seen it up for sale several times over the last year.
Perhaps if he would reduce his price it might sell.

Just sayin............

Yeah, I've been watching it for a while too. That said...

This auction is for a used CZ 527 American converted to .19 CALHOON. The bolt face has been mared by the use of pistol primers which backed out on shooting. Calhoon was called and stated this should not affect accuracy in any way. The rifle is in otherwise like new.

All things considered I too think it was a bit high. I made him a pretty fair offer but I guess he didn't think much of it. :(

Since then though, with having a 19 badger and you all having me pretty much sold on the 17 HH, I'm just not sure I have a desire for the 19 Calhoon as much anymore.

I have a .19 Badger, a .17 AH, a .17 FB and a .19 Calhoon. I wouldn't want to be without the .19 Calhoon.

It's definitely one of a kind. You don't often get a bolt like that. Kenny

I'd love to have one, but wouldn't touch that rifle with a 10 foot pole. Anyone dumb enough to use the wrong primers is not someone I'd care to buy a used rifle from.

I wouldnt think a primer "backing out" would mar a bolt face, not like that or much anyway......

Neat though. Interesting round for sure. I have to wonder if contacting Calhoun with the serial number wouldnt get a richer than I am buyer more info.

Lots of really cool rounds out there these days. Right after I win powerball I'm buying one of each. :p

God Bless!!

Thats from leaking primers not from them backing out.
