Tempting... but thought others might be interested too.

Note: it says "...repeater..." for you folks that have always wanted one.

She's a beauty!

That gun cost a little over 4K new, I believe I know who owns that one. Adam

Those Pictures could be a whole lot better for something that expensive.

It's nothing more than a M82 Kimber in 17K with a custom stock. I would be surprised to see it meet it's reserve, better pics would have helped. I have a M82 Hornet that I was thinking of doing in the new 17HH, I just have an aversion of doing one in a rear locking lug rimfire action. There does seem to be a core group of collectors that covet anything Cascade does. Personnaly I would think an original Custom Classic in 17K would come closer to getting 2K, no telling what the reserve is.

Actually, I thinks its a M84.
Check out the floor plate and magazine release.

No, chuck is right, it's an M82 that has had the kitchen sink thrown at it, hence the 4K price tag. Butch Weyland is the creator, he worked at Kimber and when they moved from to NY he bought a good many actions and the program to make them. From there he went all crazy on the actions making Squirrels Minks Hornet Vartargs, everything you can think of on these little rifles. Pac Nor tubes, custom triggers, top grade wood. He does make an 84 action that he put's his hornet based rounds on now, this is an older one as it is an 82 action, Adam

Those are two different pictures, the top one is of an 82 and the rest are of an 84, referance the bolt knob, the top one isn't checkered and the rest are, also look at the acion port. Still the 82's he made does have a 84 style floorplate. ADam

It's not very clear in the pics but the magazine release appears to be right at the base of the trigger to be round, aka Mod 84.

The Model 82 release is further forward and squarish.

The floor plate is also raised up from the stock as would be a dropping floor plate versus the flush plate of the M82.

Maybe just wishful thinking on my part.

I've emailed the seller to add a pic if possible,
as an M84 is also front locking lugs and thus a whole different ball game.

Heres a Cascade Arms rifle from a different auction showing better pics:

Not sure how a floor plate would work on a Mod 82 that has a unique clip?

Good catch Adam, I think I would ask "partspeddler1" what gives?

The floorplate is identical to the one used on the M82 218 Bee. I used to collect KoO rifles and as Adam mentioned when looking at the pics I wasn't sure I was looking at the same rifle, pic 1 is a late M82, the rest are M84's. Curious as to what the reserve is???.....Adam, you seem to have the inside line on this one....how much?:D:D

Chuck no clue, it turns out I don't know the seller. I did inform him of mistake though. Above is another example of Butch's work. Ada,

Good stuff: learning some things today.

I've had 6 ea. M82s, still have 2.

Thought the 218 Bee, 25-20, and such were single shots till now.

I like Butch's work but over the top price and style wise for me.

Response from partspeddler when asked about posting an additional pic or two:

"i can but it might be a couple days,,my son did it for me and i will need to get him here.Sorry,he did incl a picture of the kimber with the cascade"

He's selling several rifles and apparently his son is doing the pics/ or posting.

My prairie doggin friend bought a 17 Squirrel from this fellow and it is still at Cooper getting the bugs worked out. This is the second trip back, and the guy basically told my friend it was all but new! Bolt issues and chamber headspace issues. This guy has lots of high end guns he has tried to sell over the last couple years. Nice stuff, but I would NEVER purchase from him after the crapp my friend has gone through with his purchase. No way he couldn't know about the issues with that Cooper.
