I am interested in seeing any of the fiddleback maple or black walnut stocked CZ 527s in 22 Hornet ( or K hornet :) ) that might be for sale.

Anyone having or knowing of one, send me a PM please.

PS I know of the one on GB.

God Bless

Is this what you are looking for.
My pictures don't quite do them justice.
Sorry, these two are not for sale.
I could get some turned like this for about $250 unfinished. Kenny

Neat but not what I meant. Sorry I wasnt more clear.

CZ put out factory issues in black walnut and maple.

This is an example.

Looking around for a nice figured and nice condition Hornet in one and price range.

Steve,
I am pretty sure you can buy that kind direct from CZ.
I have no idea the cost. Kenny

I'm going to send CZ-USA an email but I've always read (that don't mean doodly but just saying) that they were only special run guns, made every so often.

Ive seen a few maple, only one was what I would have considered buying. Many were pretty plain but not all.

A 527 Prestige Hornet (any version) would be nice. :D

There is a pretty big variance in CZ wood and most I've owned fall into the straight grained canoe paddle variety. I have owned one, a 221FB that had spectacular wood and have seen examples of other 221FB's that made me believe that it was no coincidence. There was a run of these about 6-7 years ago, very dark wood with a lot of marbled figure and several members here including myself had them. All of the maple stocks I've seen have been pretty plain and as for walnut pretty much the same. That Hornet in the GB link is an exception.

Before I figure out what I want for this or stick it on GB I thought I'd throw it out there in case there is an interest as an option for partial trade for the "right" CZ......but realize odds are low.

Butler Creek 20" bull SS fluted, recessed muzzle barrel, custom trigger, all SS, thumbhole, laminated, cheek rest...........TACK DRIVER. You wont want the scope(Tasco). No, I don't know who did the work.

I have lots of photos and can take more. Condition? 98 percent is my call.

Just an extra option offered if there is an interest towards a trade.

Does your stock maker have the capabilities to laminate wood into stock size dimensions ? Then duplicate it .

If that is meant for me about the 10/22........Ive no idea who made the stock for the 10/22.

Sorry.
