To get brass I just ordered some loaded ammo from Midway, should be here in two more days.
Loaded with 40gr V-max, I'll pull them down and use the slugs in my .223.
Am wondering what powder is in the factory ammo.
Anyone know?? OR have a good guess yet?
I'll weigh it and try to compare but, have very little to compare with.
I'd be willing to send a card with a decent sample to anyone wanting to look at it, just let me know, better by e/m though.
Will neck these case's down to the .17x28.
Also, ordered two ejector's for the NEF I've chambered for this one, got those from Brownell's for $5.77 each. Cheap enough huh?
