I too am an old dog that doesn't catch on too quick. So try this; Just pretend the safety is an exposed hammer and pull it back to cock it to fire and let it go forward to put it on safe.

but I couldn't get used to it at all. Ended up selling my 452 after I caught myself doing stupid things one to many times. To me it was kind of like throwing a baseball left handed.

Just buy more CZ's, it's easy! Along about the 3rd to 7th one it becomes real natural.
Seriously though I never seemed to have had a problem. A lot of guns have different safety functions and I always concentrate on the safety when carring a rifle so no biggie, I also try to never drop the bolt on a round unless I'm ready to fire. I too am an oldster by the way and I can't remember my way home half the time.

OK Kenny, what's the lowdown? What's the truck gonna deliver? If it's your birthday present, Happy Birthday.

It should come as a 204 American with maple stock. It may be action only by nightfall. I am dreaming of big 17. Kenny

MIkeM:

Doing stupid things too many times is why I got out of London the second day!
Blasted black taxi's come roaring along on the wrong side of me then scare the living hell out me with squeeling tires sliding to a stop!
That was after I looked both ways more than once.

Got that nasty feeling I'd better get my A out of here before it's too late. SO I did. Those kind of feelings don't feel very good, do they?
