SOLD pending funds ...I've decided to sell my Falling Block Works 17 Ackley Hornet.

**SPF**This is a FBW (model K) mini falling block action that was built by a gunsmith
???? from Colorado in the early 1990's. Shilen match chrome-moly 1:10" twist
barrel that is 24" long, .850" at the breach and tapers to .600" at the
muzzle. Comes with bases and rings. Tiger stripe maple furniture and the trigger pull is around 1.5 lbs..

Rifle is very pettite and probably weighs < 5-6 lbs. The FBW action was made in Maybee, MI. and sold new in the white for $600 in 1991. There were 3 different sized actions as this was the smallest - specifically for the hornet and Bee cases. Action is highly polished blue and is 99%. The barrel is also polished blue and had a few light rust spots when I recieved it. The surface rust was easily removed with 0000 steel wool and BreakFree. Exterior of barrel is 90% condition due to surface rust spots which I had professionally re-blued by my gunsmith.

I haven't even shot this rifle as the gentleman i bought it from fired it less
than 10 times with loaded ammo that was provided to him by the gunsmith.
Selling to buy another Cooper .

***SPF** Priced at $850.00 + $15 s/h to your FFL. more pics available. Best communication is via email : 17ln@bellsouth (dot) net
Thanks cb <*)))>{

Way off topic, sort of, beautiful rifle and a good price, what grates me is the picture, had I been the one to set that shot up I'd have fallen into the pool with the rifle long before I could even think of getting the camera set up for the shot. Good looking rifle, good looking picture, it will make someone a very nice addition.
