It’s a 32gr. Ballistic Tip Varmint. I spotted it while digging through the new products at MidwayUSA.

MidwayUSA has the bullet listed as 34gr., but I just called Nosler and got confirmation that it is 32gr. The ballistic coefficient is .206.

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered 3 boxes. I can't see them replacing my usual 32 Vmax, although they might be a better coyote bullet which I will find out.

Wish they hadn't played follow the leader and introduced something different like a 30, or a 35-36 grain.........

Midway seems to have the best price; that's assuming that in addition to having the weight incorrect, the box count is also incorrect. They show a box of 50. I hope it a box of 100 at that price.

What advantage would these Nosler's have over the Vmax 32 gr at a little better price?

I agree about the bullet selection, why couldn't they go with 35-36. I wish Berger would make a 38gr LTB Bullet, something with a very high BC that could be launched at 4050+ fps.

But, at least there is another bullet to choose and play with.

I also was hoping for the midrange weight; a nice companion to the 35gr. Berger. I’m looking forward to trying them in my .20 VT, whenever it arrives.

What advantage would these Nosler's have over the Vmax 32 gr at a little better price?
The Noslers have a solid base so they may hold together better and avoid surface wounds.

I found any all the plastic tipped bullets to be too soft and explosive on coyotes. I prefer the Berger product for coyotes.

Now if Berger would come out with a 55-60 grain bullet for this 20x47 Lapua project I keep dreaming about.

Glad to see another offering in 20 cal, even if it is just another 32grn.
Would love to see a 36poly bullet.I also like Michael want to see the new Berger62 in the early part of 2007.

None!
Nosler just typically charges more for their bullets for no reason I've ever been able to figure out. Also if it was a box of 50 it wouldn't be the first time Nosler has done that and charged the same or more than the compititions 100 lot box. I haven't bought a box of Nosler bullets in close to 10 years and I don't see that changing soon.
I feel a big loyalty obligation to Hornady, they were the first with both .17's and .20's and they are the least expensive. They were the ones to do the HMR and MachII my two favorite rimfires of all time. If Hornady hadn't broken the ice we'd all still be buying custom bullets.
Well at least there's one thing for sure, Nosler might be the most expensive of all the majors but at least they are always last to bring out the product after everyone else takes the initial risk and proves it'll sell.

Goo done Dan - you too Doug - What a guy - both of you.
: I've switched to Barnes Triple Shocks for big game bullets as the Nosler Partitions cost more, up here.

"Au contraire"!
I might be tactfully impractical but practically never intactful and certainly never tactical that wouldn't be practical. I think?
