Of all my years of out of state hunting, this proves I was always in the wrong locations! Looks like I need to tune up the Weatherby and get out of state tags.

Distance... Of the ones posted in this thread so far, I believe I was anywhere from 15 yards to about 80 yards from the deer.

Were you in the Legacy Nature preserve? Interesting you can get that close to them. I would be happy to get 200 yards from any of them, during season.

I live 500 yards from the Legacy preserve, I walk about three to five miles along the perimeter fence almost every evening, if there are any buck like these there, I sure don't know about them!

These were all in the Henry mountains.
