What dimension are barrel flutes?

I don't have any fluted barrels but I know lots of you guys do. Can you tell me how wide they typically are? I checked some barrel mfg sites but they only list # of flutes and not sizes available.

in my experience, flute size is related to barrel size. I have 4 different fluted barrels ranging from #4, #5, and LV tapers.

the #4 is a Kreiger and flutes mic .185" across.

the #5 is a Lilja and flutes mic .200" across.

my LV is also a Lilja and mics .225" across.

i also think the flute size has alot to do with the barrel manufacturers and twhat sizes of tooling and bits they use.
