Nice NJ Deer

I saw a post on my hunter site of a feller who just moved to NJ from Brooklyn NY. He had just finished up a few years in the Army. Well I have a soft spot for former Army as I am one. I invited him to hunt my farm this season. I didn't expect much of a hunter from Brooklyn NY LOL. Well shut my mouth.

He got a trail cam photo of this Deer in September and spent every hour not working in a treestand. When I say he hunted hard he was relentless. To the point of getting in trouble with his bride on occasion lol.

Well yesterday afternoon about 4pm I get a phone call from Anthony. "I got him". Camera was messed up sorry for poor photos.

Gee, somehow that doesn't surprise me.... LOL! Or, should I conjure up a 'look of surprise' on my face now?
Ha,..no surprise here, and oh, the rut is on here in Georgia. Seems it always comes when there are the most 'things to do' on the list : )

Dandy buck!! That deer is so old it looks like he is wearing a toupee. :) I have 4 different bucks coming to my stand and they don't have that much horn between all 4 of them............
