17 Little Nasty No. 1 - details

Pictured below is the first 17 LN which I built several years ago. Blaine Eddy deserves alot of credit as he helped me design the case ; PPC -.180" short. Rifle was built to specifically shoot Lapua brass and Berger 25 gr Match bullets.


Action: Remington 40x single shot (1963 vintage) hard chrome finish.
Stock: McMillan Remington Hunter ADL, 80% dark green / 20% white.
Barrel: Lilja #5 fluted , 1:10" finished at 24".
Trigger: Jewell set at 8 ozs. with bottom safety.
Base/rings: Davidson 1 pc base, Jewell live center rings.
Optics: Leupold Vari-X III 4.5x14x50mm AO fine plex.
Load: 21.5 grs N133 , 25 gr Berger 4023 fps ... tiny groups.:D

Hey CB, this is d-d-d-downright disgusting. Posting pics like this!!! Not only does my very best riffles fall very short of being even looked at here I have to look and look and look at such beauty!! lol Sincerely though Thanks!!!

This is really nice CB and I think this is a great addition to the site! Been thinking about this myself and it will be a neat place to see what has all been built and maybe some of the reasons for building the firearm.

ps maybe a lil bikini action in the pool might have relieved my lusting… Well maybe not!
