I thought I would share a brief video of my copper bullet plating project. Constructed mainly from scrap items in my shop. The bullets in the video are cast 230gr RN I use in my .45acp, there are a few .358 cast 200gr for those of you with sharp eyes.

This is my second batch, the first batch did not work out very well, I think my solution was to weak. When I sized the first batch some of the copper came off.

If anyone is interested I will post a follow up as the project progresses.

Hey MIBULLETS,

Here is a link to some additional pics of the plating parts. I mix sulfuric acid (battery acid) copper sulfate and distilled water for the solution. I have the positive wire attached to roughly 60 square inches of thin copper plate submerged in the solution. The negative wire is attached to the "dangler" which contacts the lead bullets as they tumble in the drum.
