The WBB is also on the BR case. Probably one of, if not the earliest version of the .20BR.

based on the PPC case, full length. Worth, Bishop, Bowerman is correct. George Bowerman was shooting a .20 BR at about the same time that David Kidd's article on "The .20 BR Express" came out in SCN. Our design was a little different, but George got about the same results as Mr. Kidd did with his version.
As a side note, what has amazed me in the last several years is the growth in the manufacturing sector that the .20 caliber can claim responsibility for.
Firearms, bullets, brass, accessories, so on, so on.
Giving credit where credit is due, Todd Kindler had and still has a lot of influence in this, but I also beleive that the demand from varmint hunters as well as, and a big influence, is the many wildcatters of the .20 calibers and other sub - calibers had a hand in this. It seems like there has been a renewed interest in wildcatting the sub - calibers the last several years, many by members of this site.
Have a good day........ Michael

I believe that this is a -.100 .20 PPC. Basically a .20 PPC with the reamer run in short .100. My .20 PPC is a full length PPC but the same reamer has been used to make the Little Nasty thanks to Ray Hauver for use of his reamer.

Jim and others,

the 17 LN is a PPC case shortened -.180". Dave Kessler's LN is chambered -.200" short as we share the same load data. Not sure if anyone has built a 20 LN as both Ray H. and Dave M. have each expressed interest. I'm certain it will happen soon as it would be the perfect case size for 32-35 gr bullets.

I don’t want to open a can of worms, but is it possible to list how much the parent case is shortened to form the wildcat? So the citation would look like this:

.204 Duck Fart (.375 H&H -.250 inch)

I think this would help differentiate the wildcats that are formed on the same parent case but shortened by different amounts.

And don’t go stealing my wildcat name!

Blake I have barrels chambered for the 20 PPC .150 short in both 30*and 40* shoulders. I just shot the 30* shoulder a few times. Later this fall I hope to have them both up and running. Keep us posted on the 125 short.

There's no doubt that Todd's publication and work had a major influence, but don't sell yourself short. That article of yours in '98 or so got the ball rolling.

Has anyone worked on a .20 ARC? I saw some info on that cartridge recently, thanks Hornady! and as usual my mind went down to the .20 caliber possibilities.

I chambered an Encore barrel this sprint for the 20 Dasher but have not finished it yet. I thought it would make a dandy calling rifle.

Merry Christmas to all.

Has the 20 carbine been done using Calhoon's 19 badger brass by simply necking it up? no neck turn as with the Garrin line of cases
