An advertiser on this board offers quite a lineup of small caliber bullets, .14, .17, and .20; including rebated boattails. As I recall from a while back, Blaine Eddy mentioned execellent results with the .17 caliber 26 grain RBBTHP. Just wondering if anyone has tried some of these Genco bullets, formed any opinions?

I use Chappie's bullets in my .17Rem. with great results. The 7S 25gr.hp. is the one my guns like and is a great pelt saver. I used Bergers before I tried the Genco's and I liked them, but the Genco's were every bit as good, if not better. Besides, Chappie is only a couple of hours away from me.:)
I highly recommend them and he's a great very knowledgable person.

I used a bunch of his 26 gr. HP bullets while shooting prairie dogs two summers ago. Very good bullet. I haven't used them on anything bigger than prairie dogs though.

I was using 23.3 gr. of H4895, Rem 7 1/2 primers and getting about 3,850+ fps out of a 26" Lilja barrel with 4 grooves and a 1 in 9" twist.

Here's the entrance wound on a PD shot from a distance of about 100 yards with the 26 gr. Genco:

Same prairie dog, but a view of the exit side:

Here's another exit wound side of a PD shot at 140 yards:

I have some of their 12 and 17gn bullets in 14 cal. He provides quick service and is good to deal with. I,m just waiting for Jeff Lawrence to send me a barrel (hint hint if you read this Jeff) so that I can build up a 14/221 LRB using these bullets.
