Sure would be a whole hell of a lot easier to read IF they didn't
use a step base in the drawing. Can't be what my figures say it is.
The sample you sent is not that long.

Thanks much for posting though,

George

Looks like .209" to me, which is a bit longer than the Squirrel case Todd sent me.
: This .209" being the case for the .17 version, the .22 version should have a slightly longer neck length.
: Don, that should work with 45gr. cast bullets, but nothing longer, perhaps. According to my measurements on a Lyman 45gr. cast bullet, with the top band seated out of the case, the neck length needs to be .260" to cover the shank of the bullet including the gas check. This depends on the leade and throat measuremnts of the chamber, of course. The longer the leade, the longer seating one needs to use. You'll find the bullet must engage or at least touch the throat (lands) to give the best accuracy.

Darryl,
A person who has excellent first hand knowledge of the .22 Squirrel and the other squirrels is Kevin Harrington at 845-877-6598. He has provided me with a wealth of info and has made cases for me to use with my Cascade Alpine .22 Squirrel rifle.
