I have (1425) Calhoon 20 cal DBL HP 33 gr bullets for sale or trade. (1000) are in an un-opened sealed box. (425) are loose. Calhoon says these are preferred for pelt hunters. I would like to trade these for 32 gr V-Max or 32 gr Z-Max 20 cal bullets. I'm only interested in those bullets for trading. The Calhoon bullets retail for .1975/each according to their site. I would sale the entire lot (1425 bullets) for .14/each ($199.50) plus shipping, but would prefer to trade. PM me if interested. Thanks, 410gauge

I wish these were 39’s. I spoke to him a couple weeks ago and I think he’ll been down for a while.

Now that these have been traded, I have a question about these bullets. What exactly is the "double hollow point"? His web site shows no pics of the bullets or any explanation on what he is calling a double hollow point. I might be interested in some of his 39gr bullets if I knew what they are exactly. Thanks

From his website...........

DOUBLE HOLLOW POINT(DBL HPTM) Our unique DBL HP bullet, with a cavity in its soft lead core, triggers explosive expansion even at low velocities. Its high incidence of total expansion minimizes ricochets and provides added safety when hunting near livestock.

Yes, I saw that on the web site but I guess I still didn't fully understand the "double" part. It seems like extending the hollow point cavity on into the lead portion is still part of the initial overall hollow point. It would be nice to have some cross section pics of it or at least some pics of his bullets on the website...would like to see them. Interesting concept. Might have to try the 39gr 20cal bullets. Thanks

Ganderson, my suggestion would be to just give him a call. I've talked to him a couple of times. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy to talk to. 410gauge

I have a shooter in 19/223 and I can tell you that the bullets he make are fantastic. I shoot the 32 gr sabre and I don't hear any complaints from the prairie dogs..
