Wow!! The oil brings out all the colors nicely. That's pretty darn close to the sunset laminate you were looking for all along. Plus you get the "wildcat thumbhole". Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Yes, the color is real nice and looks like a sunset to me! :) I just bedded it today, (hope it comes apart :eek: ) and will finish the stock next. Looking forward to shooting it! Thanks Jay, I appreciate the mentoring! :)
