My son was resent to Iraq ( for third time) after submitting his new coyote carry gun to the smith. Rifle is a Rem. action, Krieger 1-10 twist in 25 cal. and cartridge is a 25/222 ( some call it a "copperhead' ) He has asked me to load some initial starting loads and break it in for him so he can be ready to hunt on a mid-tour leave. I have all powders usually used in 222, 223, 6mmbr etc but not a clue as where to start with this one. Anyone with load data that will respond is greatly appreciated.

Bob, here's some data out of an old wildcat book. There were a few more loads using W-W 680 BR which is no longer availible, but this should be a start. Keep in mind that the powder of years past may be rather different than today. I would drop these loads at least 10%.

22.0 grs IMR 4198, 60 gr Speer SP, CCI400
19.5 grs H4227

21.0 grs IMR 4198, 75 gr Hornady, CCI 400

20.5 grs IMR 4198, 87 gr Siera SP
