Can't take too much credit as the wood had already been through the duplicator and fit 99% accept Butt to receiver area, plus I farmed out chambing and threading work. My work included some wood fitting, sanding and bedding then a friend applied the finish plus milled out a tiny area of receiver metal to better allow the wood to match up. Although not seen well in the photo, we heated up the lever then bent the end almost 180 degrees as the militiary lever was way to long for the pistol grip stock.

The barrel is drilled for a rail mount but in the end I'll be wanting scope blocks for using my 10X Unertl junior. Recognize the Butt plate ?

Nice gun first off, second I am in the way of purchasing a Martini in 17 AH aswell and was wondering who did your wood working. If you did it all good on you. Was it hard to get the wood to fit. Also what of wood did you use?:D

Bought the wood off the Net from Treebone. They have several styles all roughed out for Martini's.

GL - Ric has way to many toys and there is more than a little of my drool on them. Love to just go over there and hang around. We have lots of laughs together.

Al- Ric sends me off just before his wife gets home from work. We don't want her to think that he actually did something other than play with guns all day and if I still there when she gets home she'll know we've been up to no good.

Actually I have three 17AH, way to many I know but then their my favorite small caliber too.
The 38 came home from Pac Nor wearing the new 9 twist but still needs it's stock fit and finished. Jim and I dropped the barreled action into the other 38 but fit was not quite right for serious load development so put that stock back where it belonged. Perhaps by Christmas the second 38 will be ready, like giving myself a present!

Al, right now the new Javelina has my complete attention or at least 95% of that; what a shooter and with 25 Vmax bullets too!
