Took a bit of experimenting but it seems it is
.866 Major Diameter
1.2 Metric.
Mine was .690 from shoulder to breechface.

If you just remember 1 mm is close to 0.040 and 25 mm is close to an inch will get you in the ballpark. Here is a good link for the metric-aly challenged. Kenny

Thanks for all the replys, I will probly get it barreled up next week and get the meatal work done in a couple weeks. I gotta finish the stock up and get it sent out to get it camo diped. It won't be a pritty one but it will probly be my go to walk'n cyote gun/work horse. I'll make sure to post picture with some test groups when its all done.

Zeke. I also have a soft spot for the little Mauser. I just picked up a 223 Interarms. Probably the 5th or 6th time I've owned one--which, this time I'm going to keep. We'll want to see pictures when you're done. BTW, which caliber are you going to?

The mini mausers are pritty sweet, It's going to be in 17 fireball. I think it'll be a fun little rifle.

Hi All! I am just about finished with a 17 Fireball that started off as a 17 Mach 4 but it shoots the factory so good it`s now going to stay a Fireball. Pretty Koa stock for my grandson. It`ll be in a new home in Hawai`i so I really should have called it a 17 M&M [Mongoose and Myna!]
Aloha, Mark
