Dakota Predator Bolt Disassembly Tool

Just a heads up for anyone that owns one of these rifles. Gingher Engineering manufactures the Kleinendorst tools these days, and he has made up one specifically for the Dakota Predator series of rifles as of recently. I got mine today and it is just right for the bolt shroud & firing pin travel. If you would like to get one, contact info is: Carl Gingher, Gingher Engineering, 26 Stone Crest Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657; phone is (570) 836-1448. Carl is sometimes hard to reach by phone because he's busy working in the shop, but when you do reach him, he is a great guy. Hope this helps some other Predator owners.

As Joe says above, Carl is a great guy. He'll talk shooting, music, politics, or whatever as long as you want to talk. Very enthusiastic and supportive of the shooting sports.

When I saw Joe's post, I immediately called Carl. He didn't have a bolt tool for a Dakota Predator in stock. He made Joe's and didn't do any more. But pretty quickly he offered to make some. I got mine today. Works like a champ. If I understood him correctly when I talked to him this week, he now has some in stock and you can order from him directly (contact info in Joe's original post).

I also got a bolt tool for my Cooper 21 from him (also fits models 36, 38 and 40...whatever a 40 is).
