Depends on what speed you are driving them, Ken I would expect.
They would probably work just fine at say, 3,000fps, but maybe not at 3,400fps - & perhaps if you stayed away from leg bones/shoulder....

Used to be a guy on here, who shot deer in the Eastern USA with a Hornet and 45gr. factory load. He sent me or posted pictures of the recovered bullets.
So, factory 2,670fps with 45gr. bullet.
