For 17s I like a Pro-shot non-coated 1 piece stainless rod, just wipe it after every pass. The non-coated 17 rods are thicker/stiffer than the coated ones. I have a tipton carbon, but don't use it...

Are all the primers gone?
I actually think I'm ok for my SD P-dog trip, but for the heck of it I searched online for ANY small rifle primers and have found none so far. Are they all gone?:confused::(

I loaded up a batch of about 600 about 3 years ago with the 30 grain Bergers and LiL Gun, I'll attempt to dig up the data. (I still have about 200 left out of the batch haven't loaded any since)

After years and years of reloading I'd thought I'd ask the question. I know one plus to doing it everytime is that it helps you find those occasional split necks.

223 pet loads
Fill the case to the top with VV 133, stuff a bullet in to the correct depth (just off the lands), watch the dog explode.

Action
This particular one is a Cooper 21. Like I said I historically have only neck sized, probably because I'm inherently lazy. I just finished shooting the first batch of 500 TAC 20 rounds from last...

Full length or neck size only?
I've always been a neck only guy, but a couple of years ago when Todd K. sold me my TAC 20 dies he said go full length, I'm now trying to figure out why (as I painfully FL resize 500 TAC 20 rounds)...
