Form Die
I got the Redding form die for .221, works great, but you do not need the extended shell holder, Just run thru form die and resize. .221's are a little shorter than 17 Fireball, but work alright....

All ideas work. All you really need is a F.L. Die set, A form die, any form die. I have never had to trim 221 fireball brass, or turn necks. Once I made the original from 221, I have never F.L....

You will need a Redding form die #90504, and a set of 17 Fireball dies, and I would recommend a neck sizer, and a body die. Some say you don't need the form die, but I can not get the 221 Fireballs...

When the Fireball first came out, I contacted Lee and they made me a Collet die set. $55.00 I believe, they work great with no problems.

If you get the form die, either Redding or RCBS, you will crush no case. With out forming you are trying to do to much all at once.
