small pistol primers
I use small pistol magnum primers in 218 Bee, 218 Mashburn and 22 Hornet. I've found that I get the best accuracy with the small pistol magnum primers.

I think that a fixed 4X Scope is the most appropriate closely followed by a 2x-7 or a 2 1/2 x-8. If you really wanted to have the best - how about a Baush and Lomb Balfor 8.

I am a fan of fixed power scopes. I do a lot of prairie dog shooting, and my experience is that as a general rule any power over 12X is not reliable under actual prairie dog shooting conditions....
