Actually Dean, I agree with you. That is why I always shoot 4198 or 1680 in the Mashburn instead of 4227. THOSE are the old loads that scared me.

I'm working with my 3rd Mashburn now. All on original 1885s. I droptube my 4198 in, and do not believe you can get enough 4198 in a Mashburn case to have a pressure problem.

With bullets as small as .204, Linotype is the way to go. Easier to cast the small stuff. By the way, who makes a .204 gas check?
