The one and only time I cut a wire I was about 60mi from any tools or wire.
Had to make a 120mi round trip the next day to fix it. :(

On a side note, my buddy has the same Sights mounted on his Marlin. The sight mounts on the reciever instead of the barrel like mine putting the apature much closer...
