Might look ugly but it will protect the threads in the meantime.
Hopefully it is a 1/2"x20tpi not 1/2"x28tpi.

It has a built in angle calculator using the internal sensors of the iphone.
I don't know how accurate the sensor is to get the right angle but it looks ok to me....
