Have you taken a look at the 6.8 SPC Rem.? I built one on an AR frame to deer hunt with because my state required at least 24 cal. to shoot deer with at the time and I wanted to hunt with an AR. Also made a great coyote gun. I've been impressed with it and factory brass is available from Remington. With the .277 cal. bullets in 110-130 grains it makes a good little deer/preditor round.
