50gr Bergers are now discontinued, and need a 1 in 9 twist.
I built a 20BR around that bullet 20 years ago, most of the time I use 39gr SBK.
No point using 50s in VT, talk to Todd Kindler ( Woodchuck Den) , 32s or similar will be about right. 20VT is not really a 400 yard round, you want to go that far with authority on a regular basis then more case capacity is called for.
