A 1-11" twist barrel will serve you well. It will probably not be any more accurate than a 1-9" twist barrel would be with a good bullet, but the 11" twist will put a bit less stress on a 20 caliber bullet while in the barrel and hence it will probably provide a bit better barrel life.

I finally found one and hope to have it next week. I don't think I'm going to shoot it, that always seems to ruin donor rifles.
I jumped to soon and didn't do enough research on twist with the 204. You would think after all these years I would learn to be more patient, but........
Thankfully the members on this forum are a wealth of information, freat advice, and experience. I now see where a 9 twist while not necessary would have been just fine, but I'm glad I switched back to a 11 twist.
Reading posts on some other websites from BCB, Bill K, and others convinced me that what I really needed was the 11 twist.
