Yes i have checked them out on the DX site but at the moment i have just had a new NightMaster 800 with the extention tube and extra battery with a Demon Red LED and a IR neck as well not tried thm out yet except through bedroom window with the demon red led and it looks good at 70yds. On sat i will be fitting the IR led in it and trying it out through my Nitesite NS 200 at longer ranges The nitesite ns200 has its own IR led,s but seems to run out of steam at over 75 yds so perhaps there is something wrong with it but the Nm800 ir should sort it out.
Bit reluctant at the mo to buy other Lithum Iron Batterys i have 5 at the moment.
At the same time mate Henry bought the NM800 with the white led so between us wee can compare the White,Red and the IR one.
I have had trouble in the past with eyesight problems but getting better now and through the Nitesite200 in daylight i can see a single wire on the top of a fence post at 70 yds and at night i can just see it with the demon red LED This is on my Anni 22lr with a MTC Scope set at 8 mag.
Things are looking up LOL

LiFe batteries have special uses as well. They will deliver their full voltage with very little to no drop in voltage, they will give no indication of going dead, they just turn off like you experienced. LiPo batteries are not that way, they function the same way a regular battery does in concern to giving an indication of going dead, the difference is if you drain a LiPo battery below the 20% of it's full MaH charge you might as well throw it away as it is ruined.

Any lithium battery no matter the make up is very succeptable to explosion and fire if punctured. I have seen a lot of this when flying R/C heli's. My heli's take LiPo's and my radio uses LiFe's. There are special ways of charging them as well. Most automatic chargers will be safe.

Wally, I'd triple your money for a good one!!
Just ship her, sister, mother, or friend on over.
I'm not having much luck in that dept either.

So far the batteries are holding up well enough.
Funny thing, this newest housemate suggested I get one
of those rubber imitation jobs and box of batteries; just yesterday in fact!!
