Default George's health again!!

Ok guys, haven't been online the last several days. Got my numb foot tangled up in the computer wires. Three steps later I hit the end of the rope and crashed real hard. Also, put the system out of kilter until an hour ago. I just signed on to see if I could get sicero's ph# from the contacts list. Amazingly it signed in for a change. Thought I'd post this before something else shuts it down.

I'm going in for back surgery Tues 6am, doc wants to keep me in the hosp a week, then three more weeks in rehab. Just wanted to let you guys know I "might" be offline the next month. Rider knows and will stay in touch with both me and sis. Expect he'll post updates until I can get back.

Hold the fort, go hunting and lots of shooting, wish everyone well with the various seasons etc.

George, Helen and I both wish you luck with the surgery and a speedy recovery.

Daylight saving started today and the days are stretching out, wouldn't say they are getting much warmer though...........Kiwi

Thanks much guys. Helps to know we have support here.

Some of you may know. When I was laid up with the gut problems in '12 and most of '`13. When I got out of the hosp, then N/H. I couldn't feel either foot, nor the outside of my L lower leg. still can't. So dead I've ripped a toe nail out by the roots on each foot and never knew it til I saw the blood.

Me n the doc feel there's a pinched nerve causing this. and the L foot drops too, can't raise the toes. Don't need to mention the back pains, do I?

Last two weeks I've had three Epidural shots next to the nerves. Oh man do they hurt! BUT, the dr doing it, explained IF I can feel pain where it's been numb, that's a good indication the nerves are pinched and not destroyed, possibly this fusion surgery will release it and get my feet back.

Nov '05 I had a fusion in the L3 (middle) Lumbar, took most of 5 months to get over it. This time it's pulling those screws n plates out, replacing them with new and three or four more sets with long plates down the rest of the way. He says it'll take five hours to do it all. I should be good n frozen by then!!

Kiwi can remember how well I got along when they were here. I have a big plan to make a trip to Australia, need my feet to chase those buff's around the brush!
