I reach for this one a lot.
Remington 700 VSS chambered in 17 Remington purchased used from REM here on Saubier.com
Harris bipod
6.5x20 "droopy Leupy"
Calhoun firing pin assembly
Jewel trigger

I vote Daryl as thread winner so far, smokeless powder is just the latest fad.

Those Coopers are just incredibly beautiful rifles and intend to one day fire one.

Rarebear's Remington 700 looks special. Bet it shoots very well.

This is my all time favourite rabbit rifle,
Sako S491
Weaver 6-20x40 GS scope
6mm PPC
Shilen Select Match Grade barrel
Thumb hole stock

I used to take it to the local range but don't anymore

I won a BR comp with this group so had the range officer sign it for me. All the other groups were bigger of course

Default kenbro's favorite rifle

Nice Maynard, Ken. They are known to have really fine barrels.

Hey Pete who was the range officer I can't read that signature............one day I'm going to come over and shoot on the Coffs Harbour range.

Just came back from Canberra, I was over there for the Pacific Regional Shooting Champs.........found out it rains in Canberra. One shooter had to be given extra time to finish his target as the waterfall in front of him prevented him from seeing the target frame let alone the target.

NZ team (Graeme and myself) bought home gold in rimfire and silver in LV, HV and the 2 gun. For the Individual I bought home Silver in HV and bronze in the 2 gun. If I knew how to post the results I would........Kiwi

Hi Kiwi,
Morrie Williams was out RO that day.

When you come to Coffs for a shoot make sure you have extra time for me to take you Fox shooting.

Just returned from a quick rabbit shooting trip, the farm is in the grip of another major drought. Shot 19 rabbits with the Beretta U/O.

Mate that was a huge effort, my heartiest congrats.

I will send you the files I just made of the results. Just put them in your photo host site and then just display in your post.

Pete

My new CZ 527 Varmint 17 Hornet rifle w/ Leupold 3-12 X AO scope may become my favorite rifle. When siteing it in at 100 Yds I got sub 1/2 inch groups using Hornady 20 Gr V Max ammo. Shot a few prairie dogs with it ranging between 75 and 275 yards. The 17 Hornet is a keeper.
