the shop is located right off I 81 north, I believe the second last exit before New York state in Lenox. sold a lot of small calibers, purchased both my 17 CCM and 22 CCM from Tom Thomas

Radio this morning said both the Restaurant and the Gunshop were totally destroyed ! Great Shop to visit and look at Coopers and Dakotas as well as the standard stuff , and also the only Shop for Reloading Supplies for many miles around . Hope he relocates or rebuilds .

Default Bought my first and many other Cooper from...

... Tom. At one time he was the top sales shop for Cooper, selling about 30% of their output. When Dan and Douglas got into a fracus, Tom bought barrels for Cooper, financed by prepaying orders for bunches of guns.

Tom is a great guy. I really feel for him.

Default Losing any gun shop is a tragedy!

That is truly sad news. I hope they will be able to regroup and rebuild in another location soon. Condolences coming from Mrs. Eagle clear across the US.

My Lord!

All those beautiful Coopers!

I've visited this shop a number of times, even though it is 6 hours from my house...........Great place to look in the corners for neat stuff.......

I hope they regroup.....

That's where my Cooper came from. Tom was (is) a great person to deal with. He gave me a ton of time discussing the rifles he had in stock and ended up telling me he may have exactly what I wanted coming in a few days and he would call me back. He did in fact call me back, and it was exactly what I wanted.

Awful sorry to hear the bad news about the shop. My prayers go out to him. There is getting ready to be a lot of hard work in front of him, regardless if they decide to rebuild or not.

Damn, the only thing better than going up into that shop to visit with the Thomas's and the Labs laying around, was to have breakfest downstairs at that place. I cannot imagine the losses of Coopers, Cascades, and Dakotas in that place.
