I too use the Sinclair but if I recall correctly they are a special order for the mod 38 and it takes a while.

I just contacted Mike after posting here. He contacted me right away and confirmed his hiatus. I will have to turn my own.

Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle. |

I just received my Lucas bore guide from Mike for my Cooper 38 in 17AH so he is in fact in business and making them.
Unless I got the last one ever? |

So I guess I will have to check out the other bore guides that were mentioned. Thank You all for your opinions on bore guides. |

Like I said previously I've been using the Sinclair guides over the years in Kimbers and Coopers. They seem to work ok but I'm certainly no expert.
At the present time there doesn't seem to be many alternatives, but if there was, what would the "perfect" guide look like and or/do. Bob |

The guide for my Cooper M38 in 20VT was made from Delrin by Brad at Customreloadingtools.com O-ring seal at the chamber end, build-in solvent port, knurled for good purchase, it's literally perfect.
I've got others from Sinclair, etc., but this guide Brad at CRT is by far the best fitting, best overall bore guide I own, and at last count that was 14 of 'em. Hope he's still making them.

You might check with the Woodchuckden (Todd Kindler) to see what inventory he may have on hand.

The last I heard Mr. Todd Kindler and the WoodChuck Den is out of business. I don't live far from him and from what I've heard locally he is no longer open for business. I may take a drive and find out for myself.

Just drill out the primer pocket of a fireformed and neck sized case to fit the rod.
