“Is there a drug that can be administered to American Shooters to cure
TACTICAL DISEASE? Particulary troublesome are the proliferation of these ugly bolt knobs and scope rails.”

I’m with you on that. The bolt knob that could double as a motorcycle handlebar grip is all that. What really gets me these days is: What scope, powder, brass, sling, boots etc to the extent that I overheard a tacticool guy telling another which sleeping mat he was “running” a few months ago.

Your thread prompted me to order a Brothers P-Touch from amazon for only $31 or so plus a black on yellow high strength adhesive cartridge. Got into it this afternoon while waiting for several different guys to show up for one thing or another. It's amazing how many things could use a nice label, huh? Thanks for the prod.

You won't regret having bought it. I can't tell you how great it has already been in labeling things that I need to reliably be able to identify later. After a while, like me, you will wonder how you got along without it and I am sure the OP will agree. The biggest confusion that it has eliminated is identifying and labeling unused fasteners and parts from things like microwaves and other appliances which are used in alternate hookups, which you do not use now, but might need if you change the installation. Of course, I use it for firearms related things as well.

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

These right here:

Blank Heavy Duty 15 Mil Waterproof Plastic Tags - Equipment - Valve - Backpack - Pack of 100 (2" x 4", Yellow)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W4XB7XP...t_details&th=1

come in quite handy for putting a label on our Boyt canvas gun cases and Sackups that have barrels or butt stocks for Contenders and Encores in them. I was using a card stock tag on the gun cases and then labeled them using the label maker, but they got destroyed. The card stock ones were fine for barrels for shotguns and rifle barrels that were kept in the safe when not in use, but when we go varmint shooting we usually have a bunch of rifles and/or barrels along and they just didn’t hold up well. These can withstand anything. I was using ear tags for a while but these are far less money and work every bit as well. I just put the tie cord on the sackups through the grommet and for the gun cases put them on with a Chicago screw through the grommet and or zip tie them to the hang tab on the case if it has one or if the case has a thong I just run the thong through it.
