Far as you guys moving to CO from CA.
Just leave ALL your cali nonsense crap ideas behind and
you'll be welcomed.

Re: anti trapping, anti guns, anti carry/open carry and such,
lead bans, and everything else you can think of to continue screwing
up CO even more.

DD: Only way CO has reduced the orange vests/hats is by
shortening seasons enough very few have time to fill a tag.
These short seasons, 4-5 and 9 days, half dozen of 'em thins the
herd a bit, and makes even more NR's show up.

It would be much better to make 10-20 day seasons and limit the numbers
of hunters. No way the greedy bastards will do that. All of 'em have to get a new truck every year and a big raise in pay etc.
Not only that, they do their best to make laws and regs so hard to understand for those of us not lawyers. So they can write more tickets. I keep watching for a new law saying "hunters can't pee in the woods". Fully expect that one of these days too.

Try along the southern state line with Tx, and in the far SE corner for hog hunting. Might be some you can do without the check book. Good luck.

George, that said, why don' you tell us how you reallllllllllly feel.

a frind got a ticket from a female Colorado game warder out near the Kansas co border for urinating in public, she was 1/2 mile away when he took the leak. beat the ticket in court. judge told her if she had to use binoculars to see it, it wasn't public.

always room in Colo. for another gun loving, shooting enthusiast. We need all the help we can get.
I guess I must be a lucky one. My run in's with the game wardens of the state have always been very good and I've been checked probably 10 times, maybe more. Have heard a few horror stories but never witnessed anything to make me say a bad word about the wardens.
Welcome to the state guys.

Georgeld,
One of the reasons for leaving California, other than wanting to be around
family, is the craziness of California. Why would I want to bring that with
me and try to impose it, the craziness, on you? I just want to do what I
and my family enjoy doing. Robert

you don't need a reason to leave California, Illinois, ny, Connecticut, new jersey or any other nanny socialist state, you just have to love freedom.

I haven't lived in Colorado for more than 27 years, I fear the state has changed a lot since I lived there. I think you will like Cortez though, even if the whole state is run by Denver. remember just outside Denver there is a state called Colorado.

VS:/Bob:
Too bad the majority of imports from cali
don't feel the same way you do.

One of my "claims" is: "Folks screwed up back east
so much they couldn't stand it any longer and moved to
CA with the same stupid anti ideas. Now that CAL's so
screwed up, thousands are moving to CO and other states
with the same notions".

Bob: Does that show how I feel? HA!

Cheers guys,

My personal take on people is meet before you past judgement. It does not take a whole lot of time to tell which way they lean. Grant you there are
lots out there with some really strange ideas and they do seem to be taking
over. I walk my own path and try not to be so negative. Some progress is
good and some terrible. I'm looking for a great new adventure.
