Default WTB: Lyman M-5 Ohaus 10🛥 Pan Hanger and Pan

My Lyman M-5 Pan Hanger broke at the solder joint and I need another. Not looking for a different "functional replacement". I am looking for the original style which was used on the Lyman M-5 and Ohaus 10•0•5. Does anyone have one to sell? A powder pan from an Ohaus 10•0•5/Lyman M-5 (silver or gold) which are also found on the 5•0•2 ,5•0•5 5•10 and 10•10 might be handy, but the hanger is what is really needed to get the scale functional again.

Thanks for looking,

Danny

Products that I am looking for but can't seem to find no matter how hard I look:
Leopold Scopes, Forester reloading equipment and Victorianox knives.

I video recorded all of my Highpower Rifle matches. Pretty soon I am going to watch them all in reverse order so that I can watch those F Class guys GO HOME and leave us alone so that we can shoot Highpower Rifle.

Danny, can it not be re-soldered? Love my old Ohaus 10.0.5 scale and understand you wanting to keep it original.

ramos,
Thank you for the reply. It can, and eventually will when I get a bit better at soldering. Right now, the solder joint is mostly fractured through and just barely attached. I want to make something to hold it in alignment while heating. If I put enough heat on to melt the new solder, it will probably melt the old solder and get away from me. For now I will leave well enough alone and save it for a rainy day project.

I love the M-5/10•0•5 as well. There is something to be said for the ability to keep/maintain/use some of these vintage and still relevant tools (especially scales) in original condition today.

Danny use some flux so the solder flows better. It will also clean the oxidation so the solder sticks to the metal better. Use enough heat the wire acts as a heat sink.

Might keep an eye on ebay for a 'parts' scale. I, and others here would be happy to solder your old one back together if that helps at all. Just cost you some postage.

Been looking on eBay. Lots of times, unfortunately, the owners of the scales felt that Ohaus did not know how to make scales, so they have purposefully bent the pan hanger up. I still need a pan and hanger to replace the weird and clunky style on an old 5🛥.

Hi,
No, it isn't, but thanks for trying to help.
