The politicians would like it to be a gun free/anti gun state, as far as legal and lawful citizens are concerned, yet they have CCW's and some may not even have those, but they carry and/or have 24/7 armed protection.
And they are still allowing the criminals to have guns and even the one's they want to ban from legal/lawful citizens of the state.
But even with that thinking, legal and lawful citizens are buying and putting away various items, as seen by back ground checks, which we already have, and are preparing for the future and what it will bring about.

Who knows some day what the Japanese said about invading the USA might still come true, with the way these politicians in the Biden/Harris admin are headed. I guess time will tell.
Remember a lot of LE and military personal (of course) are and did take the Oath to defend the USA, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, and will honor it, whereas the politicians want to remove all of that and go the route of communisim/socialism. Just a thought.
