Default Elk Hunting

Charlie and Don,
I had meant to share pictures and details of the hunt with you guys, but keep pushing it off. I'm just not that sharp on this picture thing. It was a successful hunt for me and we had a great time with the crew at Star Valley outfitters.
I will see if I can put some details and pics online here the next few days.
Stan

Default Herrold's Gun Shop

Snowprow,
George's gun shop, (Herold's Gun Shop) is located in Waynesboro, Pa. Only been there once, stopped in after hunting with his gang in Wyoming. Nice little gun shop, has a nice inventory of used guns, doesn't stock new guns but will order them if a customer would like to order.

Stan in Georges early years he was an outstanding stock maker. His work was the equal to many of the top names at the times.

Default George as a stock maker

Ray,
I wasn't aware that he did much stock work, but I did observe some of his long range rifles while stopping at his shop. I thought he had a really neat shop, meaning interesting guns to me.

Stan correct me if I'm wrong you are into Sako's? If so I found a Model 85, 223, 1-10 twist Varmint SS a guy has for sale + some extras. Let me know. Bob
