There are quite a few YouTube clips. One I looked at didn't have very good accuracy. But he was using match tips for his priming compound.

I've saved a bunch of brass over the years thinking I'd sell it for scrap some day.

I wonder if a guy could get a crimp tool to make birdshot also lol

I figured someone here may have been doing this already (other than The Old Redneck)

It just amazes me how fast and how radically things can change. Take .17M2, for instance -- when I owned one, Eley ammo could be purchased for a little over 4 bucks a box, .22 Mag was abundant and generally around six or eight bucks a box. Now we're looking at reloading that stuff??

Watched the video, kinda wonder how one is going to load a brick of .22 Mag for the amount he quoted. If it's true, it's a deal for sure.

I'm liking the idea of reloading the .22 TCM more and more...

I have heard about this from my neighbor a couple times. As far as using the match stick heads for priming compound and black powder I'm not impressed. Way to corrosive IMO. But I see on their website that they offer a 4 part priming compound that you mix up. If it works with smokeless powder I can see it.

Oh I didn't catch the BP part in the video clip, I just thought he said that he used match stick tips and acetone for the priming compound.

But i think it'd be cool to do. Not so much for the money savings for me as the fun of playing with it. I have a lot of tire weights all melted down and made into the size of cupcakes ready to go (left over from my 5mm project.

I made well over a 1,000 30 gr, 20 caliber bullets two at a time. It was time consuming but actually went faster than I anticipated once I got it down.

He has new priming mix available (0:39 during the video). I'm going to try some 15.5 grain NTX in the 17WSM...

Will it spark smokeless powder off consistently? I watched some videos using the matchstick heads on youtube. Didn't seem to be consistent. May have been the bullets not being tight enough in the case.

Loading parts 1 and 2 - show accuracy was horrible and so was his maximum of 730 to 750fps. Too - most to the cases stuck in the chamber after firing - A bolt action rifle- Savage? was used for the testing.

I'm not there yet. But the shortages make it tempting.
