Default Ell Archery Hunt

Hello guys,
Traveling through Kansas as Tuesday morning, dropping two fellows off in Grand Junction, Colorado and then heading north to Wyoming. Plan to pick up my father inlaw and two brother inlaws at Jackson Hole airport Wednesday/tomorrow afternoon and then we'll be hunting the Greys River/Star Valley area for 7 days. I'm hoping to stop over in Cody possibly next Thursday 17th to see the museum. I don't have much extra time, is there any place, gun shop I should be stopping at? Or will I be close to anyone that wants to meet up?
Thanks
Stan

Are you hunting with George at Star Valley Outfitters? I know him, and his camp. Good area, if the wolves aren't around. It's literally right behind my bud's house, in Etna, Wy. Been up that valley many times. Can't help you with gun shops to see, not many I know of around there. Lots to do and see though.

Good luck!

Default Star Valley Outfitters

Charlie,
You're correct, we're hunting with George, first time. Hope the wolves didn't kill them all.
Thanks,
Stan

George specializes in LR mule deer/elk hunts. He uses his own custom rifles. He is/was a pretty good smith (when he's off the sauce).

Default Elk Hunt

Charlie,
I did notice that he offers the long range option, think I would prefer to shoot my 7.21 Firebird if I was able to go on that hunt, might have to talk to him about that.

If it really is bow and arrow hunt...be sure not to shoot any lions! 😾
Ken.

Default Lion

Stevo,
Thanks for the well wishes, Charlie seems to a great knowledge, very helpful.

Kenbro,
This is a true bow and arrow hunt, we hope not to encounter any African lions, but maybe if lucky see a mountain lion. Seeing a mountain lion while not actually hunting them is possible but I don't think very likely.
