wildcats based on the 6.8 spc case
did a search but didn't find much info on anyone doing sub calibers on one, thought maybe a .204 spc might be cool.
if it shot like my 6.8 spc it would be a screamer.

Look up the PDK series from Roy Winnet.
Also the Specialized Dynamics group did a version. Adam |

6.8 Wildcat
My son and I are planning a trip to Wy to shoot prairie dogs. He is an AR nut, and, together, we built a 6X6.8 AR. I bought some 55gr. Sierra BK's at a bargain to try in the AR; they were moly-coated. We have safely been able to work up to loads going 3500 FPs that bullet-holed. I'm impressed with the "Black Rifle" now.

Unless I'm getting confused, it's been a while but I've seen and shot one quite a few years ago. Ray asked the question but I never did post a picture.

I have a Match Rifle upper in 6mmPDK which is the 6.8 spc necked to 6mm, shoulder moved forward about .050" and blown out in diameter and sharper angle (30?). Has a Kreiger 8 twist barrel and is a hammer, but I've never shot anything under 87gr bullets in it. I have no doubt it would ruin a PD's day with light bullets and you can use the 107s at 2800 fps to fight the wind on looong shots. A 20 cal version would be a bit over-bore, but what the heck, why not??

I have a 6mm DTI upper built by Mike Milli of DTech. It is a 6.8 SPC neck down to a 6mm and after you shoot the shoulder is changed to 30 degrees. it is alot of fun.
