Default 20 SCC with 55gr ??

Has anyone tried the heavies in the little VT & SCC cases?
I have a 20-221AI with a 1/8 twist,27” long .. I shoot the 39BK with great success.
Just wondering about the 55’s..

With your 1/8 twist they should work, but you will just have to try a few in your rifle to make sure. Bill K

They may not be particularly speedy but that doesn't mean they won't shoot well. I shoot the 55 Bergers in my 20-250 w/8tw Krieger and they shoot very well.

Thanks guys.
I’m going to try it then. I’d figure it’d be on the slow side.

I shoot the 55's out of my 20 Extreme with a 25", eight twist barrel and they do pretty good. MOA at 400 yards at about 3175 - 3200 if I remember right. Was shooting gophers this past summer at 250 ish yards with them. I know I didn't need the big ones for that but they were loaded up so they were used. My fast twist doesn't shoot anything under 40 grain, they keyhole or just don't get there
